Jody Kruskal Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) I posted links to hear Pearl Blake’s Tune in the Old Pal thread, http://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=18413&hl= but I thought this fine tune deserves a thread of it’s own, especially given the recent interest here about old-time on the concertina. Melvin Wine was an American old-time fiddler from the state of West Virginia. He is the source for many fine tunes including Pearl Blake's. Here are links to three different performances, two with Anglo concertina: You can hear me play Pearl Blake's tune solo. https://soundcloud.c...-tune-c-g-anglo Here is Pearl Blake's Tune with me and my buddies Michael Gorin on fiddle and Indy Hoover on guitar. https://soundcloud.c...ichael-and-indy Pearl Blake's Tune on fiddle, banjo and guitar by the Canotes. http://stringband.mo...lBlakesTune.mp3 Edited January 27, 2016 by Jody Kruskal
