Stephen Chambers Posted December 30, 2004 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Nearly a year ago we had a thread What Sort Of 'box' Is This?, Odd item on e-bay about a strange five-sided "house-shaped" German concertina which I finished up buying. Today I received another German concertina with a (literally) odd number of sides (this time seven), probably of similar age and provenance. It just goes to show once again how, with German construction, any shape is possible that can accomodate the rectangle needed for the mechanism & reed blocks.
