John Dipper
Seasons greetings to one and all. I am in the process of making a website, and am hoping to do a page showing people who play our concertinas. If you play a Dipper concertina, we would be delighted and very grateful if you could send us a photo of you playing it, and also a short paragraph about you and your music. Wishing everyone a superb 2016 - I'd better get back to reed making - there might even be a whole hour off for lunch on Friday if the boss allows
Chris Timson
Wow, that's a turn up for the books. Will do, John, when the current medical flap is over. Chris

I don't have a Dipper, but I have two friends -- one in Sweden and one in Poland -- who do play Dipper anglos. I'll contact them both and see if I can get something for you. CrP
Tho' one of my concertinas is a Jeffries, I can proudly and gladly say that it plays so well, sounds great, and functions beautifully thanks to an extensive overhaul that Colin performed on it about 25 years ago, including new bellows. It's a joy to play and really easy to to get good music from. Would that instrument count as a Dipper" or is it merely "restored by..."? tomo
Hi, John. My wife, Satomi plays a Dipper concertina (THE Co CLARE.) It's very quick and light. It has brass buttons and brown bellows. We appreciate your craftsmanship and great work. Your reeds are excellent! http://irish.cocolog-nifty.com/flute_concertina/2012/12/anglo-concert-1.html I sent you a message and a photo of her playing it. We're looking forward to seeing your new website! Tomoyuki
