I don`t think it`s a Jeffries, I have its double the stamping is far too neat, still a nice instrument.

If the "usual suspects" have bid it up that high, then it must be a genuine Jeffries....

 

I must say that the stamping on the instrument at auction looks the real deal to me. If Bazza's doubts are based purely on a comparison with the stamping on his own concertina, I'm wondering whether there may be some doubt as to whether his own is the genuine article???

 

I hope that isn't the case, but a photo perhaps may shed some light....
