SteveS Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I found this in the Wheatstone ledgers - a reference to Class B concertinas. Any ideas what these might be? I noticed they appear to be all 30 key AG - anglos?

Mark Rosenthal Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 The Wheatstone ledger page he links to covers the period October 11 - November 27, 1912.
Greg Jowaisas Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 This former discussion may be of some help: http://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=704&page=2&hl=%2Bwheatstone+%2Banglo+%2Bgrades&do=findComment&comment=8644 I found it by advanced searching "Wheatstone anglo grades".
JimLucas Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 The Wheatstone ledger page he links to covers the period October 11 - November 27, 1912. Oops! I managed to not see the link. Apologies.
Chris Ghent Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Class C concertinas are very lovely. I have played two instruments I believe come into this category and they were to die for. I suspect Noel Hill's D/A is another.
Dana Johnson Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Bet you are right about the D/A. I worked on it once to repair the ends after they gave way in a concert. Solid ebony, not laminate, or ebony over other wood. It is an astoundingly good instrument. Dana
