Tenth Charles Wheatstone Memorial Mornington Crescent Game - Slightly

Recommended Posts

....just nodded off at the various renowned venues.

Speaking of venues - Barbican

That's cured the disorientation from the previous move, and an excellent wake-up call.

I'll now widen up the game by crossing the river to

London Bridge

which I'm assured is not falling down.

Taking advantage of the 2012 London Olympic variations, and after testing the electric voltage on the DLR with my handy Wheatstone's Bridge, I assert Mudchute (probably for the first time in this series).

A fine move, Paul, and one that will alluviate the standard of play.

Playing the Ecclesiastical Metropolitan Reassignment Maneouvre I'll move to Temple

Note: no Boris Bike was used in performing this move.

I believe this allows me to move back to the airport, but at Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3

Hopefully it does not cause any resonance.

This is why I avoided this move at an earlier date, but I reckon we're on the safe side now. Good to be cautious anyways...

Too late, Wolf, I have already escorted her a stop further on, to Green Park

Players with a keen memory will recall the late, great Willie Rushton's frequent play of this station in the early 1980s. He referred to it as "the tinned lemon surprise", although this soubriquet was without foundation in any of the published rulebooks.

Staying on the Victoria line, I will look out my passport and head to

Pimlico

It may longer be a part of Burgundy, but I hope to find a good drink there.and toast Willie Rushton's memory.

I think you may have misheard there, Stuart. It was in fact the tinned lemming surprise, which you will find discussed, though without firm conclusion, in the Annals of the Mornington Crescent Special Commission in 2001. The move is excellent, though, and puts you ahead (just) on points.
