davidcorner
....just nodded off at the various renowned venues. Speaking of venues - Barbican That's cured the disorientation from the previous move, and an excellent wake-up call. I'll now widen up the game by crossing the river to London Bridge which I'm assured is not falling down.
Paul_Hardy
Taking advantage of the 2012 London Olympic variations, and after testing the electric voltage on the DLR with my handy Wheatstone's Bridge, I assert Mudchute (probably for the first time in this series). A fine move, Paul, and one that will alluviate the standard of play.
Wolf Molkentin
I feel like taking the game just one little step further and play Island Gardens with the rare opportunity of taking an underground walk to the next station as appropriate for us non-electric folkies... Chris Timson
Good to see Mudchute in play. In Anglo Saxon times the station was known as Shudmoot and was a stop on the pilgrim's trail to Canterbury. Astute players may be able to make use of this, of course. SteveS
Playing the Ecclesiastical Metropolitan Reassignment Maneouvre I'll move to Temple Note: no Boris Bike was used in performing this move. Edited May 20, 2015 by SteveS
Wolf Molkentin
Note: no Boris Bike was used in performing this move. I wouldn't doubt that at all, rather suspecting you've been using a pedal boat with the incoming tide...
StuartEstell
Brave move, Steve. I'll counter with an ecumenical orbit (third class) by playing Heathrow Terminal 4.
Wolf Molkentin
Nice try, Stuart - but you won't hinder me from following the Complementary Counterpoise Rule (CCR) with a central move to Bank.

Nighthawk
I believe this allows me to move back to the airport, but at Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3 Hopefully it does not cause any resonance.

This is why I avoided this move at an earlier date, but I reckon we're on the safe side now. Good to be cautious anyways...
StuartEstell
Nicely done, Mr. Nighthawk. Perhaps you could rescue Samantha from the baggage collection while you're there?
Wolf Molkentin
Taking Samantha to Victoria in order to help her on her traiin heading for Brighton... (no need to hurry because it's Southern..., thus train will be late in any event)
StuartEstell
Too late, Wolf, I have already escorted her a stop further on, to Green Park Players with a keen memory will recall the late, great Willie Rushton's frequent play of this station in the early 1980s. He referred to it as "the tinned lemon surprise", although this soubriquet was without foundation in any of the published rulebooks.

Chris Timson
I think you may have misheard there, Stuart. It was in fact the tinned lemming surprise, which you will find discussed, though without firm conclusion, in the Annals of the Mornington Crescent Special Commission in 2001. The move is excellent, though, and puts you ahead (just) on points. Chris
