Henk van Aalten Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 On a Dutch harmonicaforum, I came across this site: The John F. Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts. It is full of video's of on-stage performances. Just click the "Search Site" button and enter search criteria like "concertina", "melodeon", etc. Some search results: Niall and Cillian Vallely Joe Derrane At the bottom of the pages you find the link to the video. Have fun
David Barnert Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 On May Day a few years back the Foggy Bottom Morris Men did a presentation there that I saw on the site. Nick Robertshaw (Jeffries Duet Concertina player) was the master of ceremonies.
Steven Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 I had heard of this site before and the archived concerts on it, but had never really looked around on it. Whaddya know, but I found that a friend of mine, Dave Wiesler, has played there lots of times in combination with various other musicians! Now I just have to find the time to watch all those concerts.... Steven
