AndrewCollins
Hello Thought it was time I registered and posted something here rather than lurking. I’ve been playing concertina (Anglo) for seven years - taking it up at the age of 40. I don’t play anything else - and haven’t previously apart from some piano lessons at school ( fortunately I remembered most of the music theory ), so it’s taken a while ….. Many thanks to those who have posted help, advice & inspiration to other learners here, it has definitely been of use to me as well Andrew
Rod
Andrew, are you drawn towards any particular style of music ?
AndrewCollins
Hello Yes - I should have said - folk music in general, with most interest in English folk music. I'm working on using LH accompaniment to an RH melody Andrew

AndrewCollins
Thanks for the welcome; I have recently got a Jeffries in G/D - I was using ( and still do ) a C/G Lachenal before that. I actually started with a loan Scarlatti for a few months. Andrew

AndrewCollins
Hello Karl, Which side do you play for ? I'm in South Norfolk so know a few of the Suffolk sides. I love the Jeffries growl also, I was fortunate enough to be able to have a good try out of one ..... After which I had to start looking !!
