badwellmac
Hi All, I am just wondering, I have seen many 20 button anglo's in C/G. Are they common in G/D ? Karl
Sidsqueezer
Might I politely suggest that you post using a different font for reasons of legibility.

Daniel Hersh
Hi All, I am just wondering, I have seen many 20 button anglo's in C/G. Are they common in G/D ? Karl No, not at all common. But they do exist - I have one. I think that they were mostly originally in Ab/Eb and were tuned down to G/D in recent decades.
Jake Middleton-Metcalfe
what is wrong with comic sans? I wrote my CV with that font... Jake Middleton-Metcalfe
Sorry guys. I don't mean to take the piss. I agree a 20 button GD would be a perfectly useful instrument to take to most english sessions I have been to. I have never seen one though
Dana Johnson
In the not too distant past, an edition of the Joy Of Cooking cookbook was printed with one page in black on white and the facing page in Yellow on white. ( intentionally if you can believe it ) Needless to say they got pulled from the shelves in a hurry, but not until some pretty hefty printing bills were incurred. Might as well have been invisible ink! They'd have been collectors items if they hadn't printed so many. I keep reminding my daughter that if she wants people, ( teachers) to read her work, they have to be able to tell it apart from the paper. Color is great for pictures, mostly not so good for print. badwellmac
Hi There, I do apologise for the font, It was a mistake. I have just bought a Lachenal 20 button Anglo. It has been "branded" into the wood " Church Army 17 " so I imagine it was originally a Ab/Eb. It needs a small repair to the bellows and some refelting to the buttons. I was most surprised when I started playing and thought ??, that's not C/G ! Karl
