Wolf Molkentin
Here's another self-accompanied piece of song: Rolling Down to Old Maui Scheduled for a long time, now realized in a first attempt... (as always, any feed back much appreciated) Best wishes to all - Wolf
maki
I enjoyed that immensely. Thank you for posting. What type/key of concertina did you use, and what key is the song in?
Steve Wilson
Nice one Wolf. Well played, you have the balance between voice and accompaniment sorted out these days. I prefer this song done slightly slower. Perhaps you could try it, see what you think. Cheers
Wolf Molkentin
Thank you so much Maki, I'm very glad you're enjoying my take on this fine song! I'm playing my English Treble Concertina, Lachenal, "Excelsior" model, and if I'm not mistaken I chose the key of Dmin to suit to my singing... Steve, thank you very much as well for you feed back, much appreciated! As to the pace of the song, I have not been able to give your suggestion a try due to a (minor) illness, thus I'll have to come back to this aspect later on... Best wishes - Wolf
