Here's a rehearsal recording of the beautiful Stéphane Delicq mazurka Nadiejda.

 

We were playing around with arrangements and chords, figuring out what to do with it in the absence of our very capable melodeonist.

Typical of a genre, methinks. Lovely, nonetheless. :)

 

Aptly, the name appears to be a transliteration of the Russian word for hope.
