Hello. I am new to the forums, so please excuse any errors.

Following full restoration I would like to sell my late mother's concertina, identified by an expert as a Chidley English Treble c 1870,

5 fold bellows with Chidley papers. Rosewood ends.

Steel reeds, bone buttons, bushed.

Recently service and tuned to concert pitch.

In a Wheatstone box.

Sadly I do not play, and my fingers are too arthritic to take it up.

Photos to follow.

Hello, this concertina looks familiar, I bet it has my fingerprints all over it, Serial number 2242, re-padded, re-valved and tuned, new thumb straps etc.???

1860's vintage I suspect.

Correct, Dave, this is the one you worked on for me, so a first rate job.

Maybe I got the date wrong?
