It plays great, has a nice soft tone and is in very good condition for being over 150 years old. Would be perfect for a serious beginner/intermediate player who wants to learn on a vintage instrument with concertina reeds or for someone who appreciates beautiful detail and craftsmanship. Comes with a beautiful wooden case. Selling because I recently purchased a Jeffries. Asking $1800 plus shipping costs. Sorry that is a typo it is a C/G, it has 35 buttons - one is a squeaker button that makes bird noises and other extra buttons are kind of random drone notes which I never used playing Irish music. I was told that almost everything is original on the concertina. Apparently it was just left in a box for a very long time.
