I ran across this woman's work while looking for more tracks for my

.

I don't speak Japanese, but it's really interesting to see her backing basic singer-songwriter pieces in Japanese, using what appears to be a basic English concertina. I'm always interested to see non-trad concertina players; I certainly like trad, but it's neat to see the instrument used for other things. And though I'm not sure what Japanese singer-songwriters normally play, I'm guessing concertina usually isn't it. Of her few tracks, I like "Paradise" the most.

She has a blog as well: http://letterfromyuyaantical.blogspot.jp/ . I glanced at it using GoogleTranslate but nothing too conclusive, though it does have a photo of her kit:

Have you seen this entertaining Beatles cover "Honey Pie" performed by Steve Wilson.

Jody, I'm not sure if you've put it together: That's Safari Steve, of this forum (the "Thanks to the Core" thread). Forgive me if you already knew that.

I too have encountered Yuya's channel. She seems quite musical and has a lovely voice. Her music is interesting. It will be nice to watch her progress, along with other Japanese who seem to be attracted to the concertina.
