Don Taylor Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I am looking for a good sounding concertina sf2 file. Thx. Don.
Łukasz Martynowicz Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I found the font I was PM you about, it is available for download here: http://www.barfly.dial.pipex.com/download.html If You have something better or of different tone (metal ends perhaps?) I'll be interested in it too
Don Taylor Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 LukaszThanks for this. This is inside a .sit archive which is, I believe a proprietary Apple format. I don't have a decompressor for this format on my PC. Maybe you can email it to me as a .zip archive. I will put it in my Dropbox so that anyone else interested can take a copy.If anyone else has a concertina sound font file then please do not be shy.Don.PS. Sound fonts are files of audio samples of particular instruments that can be dropped into some music software so that, for example, a midi keyboard will sound like a concertina.
Don Taylor Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 Here is a link to the sound font file in my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kx6ude5uwzoan15/0pMQSd11c4 I also put this note in the dropbox folder: This is a Sound Font file from a sampled baritone concertina. It originates from Phil Taylor (no relation) and can be found here:http://www.barfly.dial.pipex.com/download.htmlPhil has packed it into a .sit file for use with BarFly (a now obsolete ABC program) that is difficult to unpack on a Windows system. This file is simply the unpacked .sf2 file that is inside Phil's .sit archive. Don.
