SteveS Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) I am presently finishing off the restoration of a 35 key Lachenal Baritone English concertina. Wooden ends, dark rosewood coloured, steel reeds. This 'tina has undergone extensive restoration: - tuned A440 - repaired damage to ends - newly finished ends (French polish) - new pads - new valves - new springs - new dampers - new bushings - new end bolts and receiver plates - new gaskets - repaired bellows - new bellows papers - new thumbstraps - deep clean of woodwork and metalwork. Includes a case. I should have this ready before the end of the year (sooner if required). Serial number is 50020. 6 sided, 6 fold bellows. Please PM me if interested. JimLucas Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I am presently finishing off the restoration of a 35 key Lachenal Baritone English concertina. In your list of details, you seemed to have left out what sort of reeds and the end material. Since you didn't say, I would guess that the reeds are steel. And French polished ends would have to be wood, but what kind of wood?

Wolf Molkentin Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) I would surely be tempted if I only could afford it... Good luck with the sale, Steve! P.S.: You applied gold-on-black bellow papers from Dave Elliott, didn't you? Edited March 5, 2014 by blue eyed sailor
SteveS Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Thanks Yes you are right, the papers are from Dave Elliott.
Wolf Molkentin Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Humm...................... nice papers You're telling me!
Wolf Molkentin Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Oh, these ones... I had been tempted to apply them instead of the "L" papers to my Lachenal as well...
