Bill Crossland Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 To add to the plethora of concertina goings on in Clare next Spring, the dates for Noel's week in Ballyvaughan have now been finalised. This coincides with the Russell weekend in Doolin (22/23rd Feb) and the Corofin festival (24th to 30th). There is a recent review of this week here: http://noelhill.com/content/noel-hills-irish-concertina-school-2012 Worth moving over to Clare for the duration??

A fantastic 2-weeks period in Clare, first the Cruinniu in Miltown Malbay, Doolin festival, Noel Hill school/Corofin.... Can one ask for more!?
Bill Crossland Posted October 19, 2013 Author Posted October 19, 2013 Clare usually obliges - may be not tropical but the promise of spring definitely in the air.
Peter Laban Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 You don't live here do you? I remember the Corfin festival with snow and horizontal sleet. But it can be anything, good, bad or indifferent..
Gjert Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I live on an island off the swedish westcoast and has similar weather as in west of Ireland. We have a saying here that there is no bad weather, just poor clothes!
