Good sound, quick response, easy to play and very pleasing to look at. It's also my wife's new favorite, she tells me it's the first concertina I've owned that she really likes the sound of and that she enjoys listening to it. I had an early 1900's Wheatstone some years back on a long-term loan of several months and my wife was not happy with me for returning to its owner rather than purchasing it when I had the chance. Of course it wasn't until I'd returned it that she commented she had enjoyed the tone of it and missed hearing it played, too late to do anything about it.
