Recently purchased a Bastari 40 button in d/g to play local Asturian Spanish folk music. The tunes are a mixr/h n of gaelic & celtic style. Anyone play similar or can anyone identify the r/h notes on this type of concertina. I'm new to this type but played an English in the late 60's early 70's. Anyone interested in listening to local music can try a web search Spanish Asturian folk tunes. My first posting so hoping for a reply. Spanishman (English but retired here to enjoy their music)

I am from Ourense - Galicia, and one of the few spaniards that play anglo concertina.

I went two weeks ago to Porcía Folk Festival (in El Franco), in the limits with Galicia, to visit old friends.

When studying Laws in Salamanca University, I and my brother met two asturians from Xixón, Ruma and Igor, and began playing with them, we founded the asturian group Felpeyu, that it is now one of the most important groups there. We have a lot of friends there, that play in many groups, Llan de Cubel, Felpeyu, etc.

I don't play G/D concertinas, by now.

Wellcome again
