Hi guys,

Can anyone help me identify my concertina. My father passed away recently and on clearing out the attic I came across this concertina. Having done a bit of research I think it may be a Lachenal. It has 30 buttons, metal ends and steel reeds. Although it needs a good cleaning everything seems to work. Any information would be appeciated especially its value

cheers

Barry

I think it may be a Lachenal.

Definitely a Lachenal. The stamped trademarks in the wooden hand rest are Lachenal's.

I'm not an expert on current prices, but it will depend a lot on current condition. Best to have someone knowledgeable examine it.

That was utterly thoughtless of me....very sorry about the loss of your father.

Mine passed away last week, and I've been a bit out of sorts.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
