Mark Davies Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 For Sale I have never seen a concertina like this before, although I have seen a few Edeophones of similar construction in various colour schemes. This is concertina has seven fold black bellows and raised ends wich are covered with green perloid and has brown erinoid buttons, one button has obviously broken and has disappeared so just to make sure it played I have replaced it with a metal button. As with many of the Edeophones it originates from Glasgow but does not contain the stamp or plate of Professor A M Ross who commissioned. It is in original condition, the fretwork is undamged and the reeds have not been re-tuned and the bellows are airtight. It could do with a re-pad and the reeds twitching.I can get this work done by Dave Prebble at added cost(I will get him to give me a quote). If you are genuinely interested email me for photographs. It make a fine player when it has been re-padded.No is 60115.
