Bandoneon In Ny Times

It's not the type of instrument, and probably not the type of music, that most of us are interested in, but there was a nice article on the bandoneon in the NY Times on Monday, June 24 entitled "Taking a 'Poor man's Church Organ' to Heavenly Heights."

 

It was nice to see that the article correctly noted that "Though it looks and sounds like an accordion, the bandoneon is actually a member of the concertina family . . . "
