Paul Read
I have a 1920s Wheatsone Model 22. It has been retrofitted with the ugliest pait of aluminium finger rests (rivetted in place too!!). I have had no luck with the usual sources (Dave Leese etc) with getting a pair of nickel (or nickel plated) replacements. Any suggestions or anyone wanting to sell a pair before \i give Steve Dickinsen a lot of money? Thanks
Mike Franch
Could you cover them with some other material? Such as a good quality tape, carefully applied?
Paul Read
In a word, no. These are remarkably ugly and badly shaped. Anyway, I want to restore the instrument to its former glory.
Theo
I only have brass ones ex Lachenal. I assume you have asked Mark Adey at Concertina Spares?
