Don Taylor
I am contemplating replacing the bellows on my Lachenal Exclesior rather than rebinding them to fix a leak. The current bellows are also quite stiff and six folds would be nicer than the existing five folds. But, the existing bellows have nice gold embossed leather ends that I dont want to lose. Can I hope to get the existing leather ends off without damage so that I can reuse them? If so, how? If not, does anyone sell embossed leather ends? (The leather ends are the thin strips of leather that wrap around the ends of the bellows to cover up the ends and make them look complete).
