A number of West Country Concertina Players meet monthly in a small village called Ruishton, near Taunton in Somerset, for band practice. Here is a short clip of them playing.

Just to clarify, this is not a video of a band practice, but of an open hymn playing session at the beginning of the meeting and which some members, but by no means all, seem to enjoy.

 

Although I wasn't at this session, I'm told that the afternoon was spent working on some interesting ragtime arrangements. Not of hymns I hasten to add!
