Hi Eric -I have available a mint-condition, 55-button Wheatstone Crane duet with brass reeds- but it is nickel-plated ( metal) ended, rather than wooden ends. Still interested? Want more details ?

I've been off the forum for a while. Back around the 1st of the year, Greg Jowiasis had a 48-stud brass-reeded Lachenal Crane for sale. I don't know that he still has it but you might contact him.

I am not sure about this but reading this made me wonder:

Is it possible to buy one with steel reeds and to replace the steel reeds with brass reeds from two cheaper ship wreck english concertinas?

Would that be a problem to do so?
