Cascadia Irish Music Week - Concertina Classes In Washington State

Co. Clare concertina player Florence Fahy is coming to teach this August at the Cascadia Irish Music Week, Aug. 11-17, 2013. The camp will also offer introductory level concertina classes taught by Tom Lawrence. (A few loaner instruments will be available for students. ) Also teaching at this new event will be Mary Bergin, tinwhistle; Sean Gavin, flute; James Kelly, fiddle; Antoin MacGabhann, fiddle; Randal Bays, fiddle; Johnny Og Connolly, accordion; Daithi Sproule, guitar; et. al.

Location is the Camp Casey Conference Center on Washington state's Whidbey Island, a beautiful seaside setting for what promises to be a week of great music and learning.
