I was contacted by a business owner who wanted to know some information about one of my concertinas. His business is buying & selling used musical instruments. His name is Tom Klein, and his business "Music Go Round" is in Ann Arbor Michigan. A couple came in with an Edgley concertina and wanted $50 for it. From the date, it is only a few years old. It had an unusual serial number, indicating it was made and sold by one of my apprentices, but signed by me, indicating the I had approved the work. Since it was not all that old, the original buyer 's alledged widow must have known the original price. Mike, at Music Go Round agreed with me that it may be stolen and asked me to put the word out on Concertina.net. If anyone lost or had a concertina stolen, please contact Mike at 734-662-1080 or by e-mail at mgrklein@sbcglobal.net . It was probably stolen or lost in Michigan, not too far from Ann Arbor. He will ask for the date or serial number inside, and the colour of the instrument for identification purposes. Please let us know, here, on this site if you can claim this concertina.
