A friend of mine has been making lovely looking and sounding concertinas for some time now.

Here are some pictures of one that he most recently finished, with Amboyna ends and frames.

They play beautifully and look beautiful as well.

I have never had the pleasure of playing or seeing a Chris Ghent concertina in person but from our correspondence I know he is a very thoughtful and conscientious craftsman. Gorgeous!!

Well Greg,

I did have the great pleasure of trying one of Chris' instruments when he came to France last year and it played wonderfully well and now this one looks 'the business' !
