Hi Neill,

It is absolutely gorgeous. Good luck selling it. Too good for Morris!

Malcolm

PS - I am going home on Thursdays until further notice, so I can't ask you in person - what have you replaced it with?

I played this instrument when it was at the Button Box. Absolutely glorious sound; I never heard anything like it. And a wonderful player. If I had the $ I'd buy it in a flash.

It is lovely, but not the right key for my needs. I have bought a crab/Jeffries hybrid in g/d and a Marcus deluxe in c/g. Both play fine but none match the beauty of the Dipper.

Weird, winning bidder from Australia bids in the final seconds and then no contact from him. Looks like the concertina isn't going to South Australia after all!

May have used a snipe tool to place an automatic bid. As others say, maybe hasn't seen his email yet.

Or maybe he(?) has and is still sweet-talking his bank manager...

Or sweet-talking his wife/or sweet talking her husband!

It's a truly beautiful box, but I'm not sure I'd get away with buying it unless I had a secret concertina fund unknown to my infinitely better half!

Seriously, do hope the buyer comes forward promptly - otherwise it is most unfair (to put it mildly) on the seller and underbidder(s).
