tuning bellows at auction

Some nice looking tuning bellows - might be of interest to restorers and makers.

I would think the guide price a bit high, but I have zero experience of what to expect for this sort of thing, and maybe there's more value from the historical point of view.

Interesting piece of kit - but why are there 4 slots? They all look to be the same size

I don't know but perhaps in the days without electronic tuners they used reference reeds? I'm sure an expert can answer. From the wear it is clear they were used, my other guess is that they were used to get the intervals right between different reeds.
