New scams by "seller" (probably a hijacked account) called trycomp : http://www.ebay.com/...x-/370610506532 and http://www.ebay.com/...a-/370610506464 .

The latter one was bought, restored and sold by me last year, and is now residing happily in Kent. This is the second time it has appeared in a fortnight. If I were a scammer, I think I'd select an instrument that wasn't so distinctive...

If I were a scammer...

Ah, but you're not.

What surprises me is that this appears to be a single individual (hmm, or maybe a team?) who has successfully hacked numerous eBay accounts. I would have expected that eBay would put significant resources into preventing a repeat, both for its own reputation (they don't brag about being easily hacked, do they?) and to avoid potential lawsuits from individuals caught by such scams. At the very least they should be able to filter for the persistent breaking-eBay's-rules text and thus prevent these "auctions" ever being posted.

But apparently they don't.
