Bruce McCaskey Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I've recently posted new video of Bertram Levy playing Anglo on YouTube . I anticipate posting additional material over the course of the next several days and will flag the additions in this thread. He's playing a Stagi in this first video, an instrument he's had for several years and one he favors for travels and casual playing.
Marcus Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Just goes to show you don't need an expensive instrument to make great music!
Bruce McCaskey Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 (edited) I've added another video here. I really enjoy this simple, yet haunting waltz. It's Bertram's own composition, inspired by the sound of waves lapping against the shore during a visit to an abandoned island village on a foggy morning in British Columbia, and first played on a concertina. Edited to update link. Edited February 24, 2012 by Bruce McCaskey
