Kautilya Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Some young folk are thinking of starting a small Tango 'band' - there are three of them, one is Italian who plays some guitar and she is doing an MA in London -- I said I would ask if anyone (or several) here might be interested in joining up as they would love to have a squeezebox player. They are NOT expert musicians so you do not have to be Tango player Numero Uno. To start with the idea is to develop some occasional (paid for) Tango classes and maybe occasional jaunts to play in restaurants (presumably paid for). It is for fun but also to make some money. They live in North London not far from Islington. If you might be interested in getting in touch with them to see how it might work please mail me. Maybe there could be a rotating tina player list to spread the action geographically Thanks Seems it suits English pretty well as there are a lot of tina tango youtubes but who knows there may be some AngloTangoWhizzos too! With all those buttons on a bandoneon Dirge's many-keyed box would certainly be a whiz! And here's the music for trying http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VELhqtmDzBY&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PL439955825EB66666
