Thanks for the delayed response Dave.

I was half kidding (no quarter kidding about my query.

I would really love to see this instrument up close.

It does look like a "cracker" as you folks say over there.

I'd also love to see some money so I could even consider it.

It's on my mind and if I can think of some way to take a look and purchase I'll let you know.

Also, should you drop the price again, let me know as it might push me towards robbing a bank!

Best,

Perry

Perry, it's almost as cheap to find a cheap flight from NYC and go have a look in person. WIsh I was on that end of the country.

Rod:

Don't think I have'nt given that some consideration!

I just received a private email from another C.net member who says he is in negotiations with dave and the instrument is all but his!!!!!

Not sure if that takes me out of my misery or puts me into more!

Best,

Perry

The answer is that it's sort of sold! There is a respected member of Cnet who has agreed to buy it, but lacks the wherewithal just at the moment. However, he expects a richly-laden argosy any day now, and I have promised to hang on to the instrument for him until his ship comes in.

Meanwhile, if anal retention is the problem, I always find prunes an acceptable solution...
