Noel Hill Concerts in the US

Noel has a few concerts lined up on the West Coast of the USA and I've included information on two of them below. If you have the time available I can't think of a better way to spend an evening than with Ireland's 2011 Gradam Traditional Musician of the Year.

i'm confused as to why there is info as to only two if there are a few---i tried to find complete information on the nh site, but there is nothing. is there a link to a place where complete information on these dates can be accessed? thanks.

I think it'd be a wonderful thing if someone put together a complete list of when and where he's performing and posted it on his website so that interested people could find the details. I don't know that it would result in any significant increase in the audiences, but I think Noel would want anyone with a love of the music and the instrument to have a chance to attend his concerts, and not just for the increased revenue of the tickets sold. I'll make the suggestion to him that he post his concert information to his website, I know it's been done in years past. It might be too late for that this year, he's away from home and doing his classes now and I don't know if he can arrange to have such a posting done at this point.

 

I've heard rumor of another house concert to be held in California between the dates for the two I posted but don't know any details so maybe it's a private affair. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of Noel performing at an East Coast location this Friday or Saturday since he is out that way this week, but nothing regarding such an event has come my way. I'm under the impression that each of these concerts has been organized by motivated individuals that attend his classes, they each set up something with him in their respective areas of the country and there's been no central concert tour planning or promotion. Of the two I posted information on, I was aware of one from the concert organizer but the second only came to me via the forward of an incidental email from someone I don't know. I did verify the venue and details before including it in the post.
