Okay... found my files.

 

Since LDT posted 'Maid In Bedlam' and so I'm now singing/playing that one, too, I went looking for the other song that ends with 'I love my love....because I know my love loves me.' It's a Victorian-era song, though I'm not sure what country it came from. The lyricist was C. Mackay and the composer was Ciro Pinsuti.

 

Here are two mp3s, one with two verses, concertina, singing & foot bass; the other just one verse, concertina, singing, and a bird on the chorus (recorded outside). Not claiming it's my best work, probably can do better...after I get my tooth pulled on Wednesday... anyway, did these a while ago.

Normally, I hear this type of song sung by a very professional soprano type, and not in any relaxed, folksy manner. Sorry, that's not me... I just like the songs anyway!
