I've just bought a 46 key Lachenal Maccan; the usual mahogany and bone entry level model. It's in England and has no box. In an ideal world I'd like to buy a box in the UK and get it posted to join the concertina, then I've got something to carry it in from the moment I collect it.

Does anyone have one of the standard 6 sided mahogany boxes spare. Or anything else suitable perhaps?

In case you're wondering why I bought this when I am so rude about the limitations of small duets normally, it's to be taken to places where I don't dare risk, or can't fit in, one of the big boys.

Well Chris A hasn't got one. I'm seriously wondering if buying a beaten up 20 button Anglo with a useable box off Ebay, keeping the box and putting the instrument straight back for sale might be the best way!

I have an old box from a Lachenal English. Usual condition of needs a lock and the leather handle but it's not beaten up. Otherwise, I have the Wheatstone case from my Crane that I sold to a fellow in Australia. Would you like either of those, Dirge?
