I believe it is a 40 button c/g. It has metal ends and has a great tone and response. This is not your typical Lachenal. I have seen 1 or 2 others of this calibre and it is easily worth $4000 if not much more. I'm not sure if Greg posted it here but I'm sure he would send pictures if you contact him.
