Dave Prebble
I still claim the record for the deepest concertina playing at 4200 feet below ground in a coal mine. These Mad Geezers have gone in totally the opposite direction !! Vertical Sailing Greenland Enjoy !! Dave P
gcoover
Wow, playing concertina sure makes people do crazy things! Gary
Ptarmigan
Oooooo that's really hard to watch if, like me, you get dizzy ... even when you are standing on a chair! Hey Dave, have you got any YouTube video footage of yourself playing underground? .... & what appropriate tune did you play ..... Blackleg Miners perhaps? Cheers Dick
Leo
I was O.K. until they took a peek out of the "tent". Then my life flashed before my eyes. Part 5 is closer to my comfort zone. Two weeks on a sailboat going home sounds like fun. Good series. Enjoyed it. Thanks Leo
shelly0312
Oh man, like I had time to watch all 5 episodes---but I couldn't stop myself. These were excellent. I loved the second episode with them all composing together; it was a "cliff hanger"! Michelle
saguaro_squeezer
I need to watch this. I've fantisized about Greenland ever since my 1960's Rand McNally Atlas showed population density at < 2 persons per sq mile and I read about Ernest Gann's flights to the US airbases there. Wasn't there a post on c.net about the Inuit and concertinas? I'd actually planned a flight from US to UK via Greenland, Iceland, Faroes in my small private plane. then, I woke up! drbones
That sure looks like my Rochelle, without the fancy Jolly Rogers all over it of course. Oh! S.S., There ain't no saquaros to squeeze in Greenland so ye might better take one with ya.
hjcjones
I was O.K. until they took a peek out of the "tent". Then my life flashed before my eyes. As a climber myself, I'm not afraid of heights. I am however very afraid of the ground - that hurts.
