The mind boggles. My level of playing is easily replaced by a machine but someone who can actually do this instrument justice probably isn't (at least I hope not).

I would have been more impressed if it had rattled off some widdly diddly stuff. It sounds like it is playing notes at random, and then getting some wrong! I don't see a great demand for this.

I suspect that's more because you don't appreciate Iranian music than because the arranger didn't know what he was doing.

 

Listen to the song in a few other versions, then say which notes you think it got wrong. =)

Well, I played it to an Iranian friend of mine and he wasn't impressed. He pointed me to another version on YouTube which was (in his opinion) much better.

 

Clever, though, programming the 'machine'.

I thought you were looking a bit Dale(a)ky when I last saw you.

Last week I bought an electronic acoustic converter which will work with tinas, melodeons, accordions,indeed most instruments, but have not had time to do initial experiments.

 

But you will be the first to be aurally tortured with them :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
