Paul Read Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) I am selling for a friend a lovely 30-button Wheatstone Linota C/G number 32798 from 1932. Metal ends and buttons with rosewood frames, rivetted action. This one has just been checked out and had the reeds voiced by Wim Wakker and some valves replaced. The original 6-fold bellows are in excellent condition, no patches, and the instrument also looks very good internally. There is some wear/chips on the nickel plated ends but otherwise it is in excellent condition for its age. The reeds don't appear to have been messed with at all. Note that the ends have red gauze attached. The ledgers indicate that this was original, installed by Wheatstone. The instrument has fast action and reed response and that lovely Linota sound. This would be a fantastic session instrument. Looking for offers in the region of $7500. It will likely go on ebay next week if it doesn't sell here. Edited March 20, 2011 by Paul Read
