Sean M Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 i found this link http://www.yagelski.com/sbox/music/godrestyoumerrygentlemen.gif I understand the staff and basically everything that is printed but I'm not really sure about anything that is handwritten in. I'm guessing the ^ means to draw and without that you should push for the note/chord. Can anyone else help explain all the other notation that is handwritten in?

Gary Specifically, the keys on a Chemnitzer are all marked with numbers to allow players who can't read music to play from this sort of tablature.
