SteveS Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 (edited) I have a baritone Aeola (made in 1913) that I acquired about a year or so ago, and written inside are some bits of provenance. The previous owner has written the name James Hadwen and an address in Sheffield, and then an address in Barnsley. Presumably James Hadwen was the owner/player of this instrument. Does anyone know anything about this concertina player? Edited February 16, 2011 by SteveS

I have one Hadwen reference, but this is a female witness to a 1911 Childey marriage (one of Rock's grandaughters) in Wolverhampton.
