Numbers are mounting up - nearly 30 assorted bods bearing diverse squeezy things, twangy devices, blown hollow tubes of various shapes & sounds, scrapy artifacts, [hopefully none of those horrid noisy bangy things!] are preparing to descend on Bull Bay in 7 & a half weeks time!!

Room for more - anyone?

The advance party will be setting up camp from Thursday 21st April, so there'll be a session in the pub in the late afternoon & evening.

Weather permitting, if it's fine we may play on the campsite too.

Mike,

That's splendid news!

I'm not sure how many other concertina-ists [is that the right terminology?] will be coming.

There's a guy from Rhyl who also plays a duet who may be there.

However, there'll be plenty Carolan et al tunes & quite a lot melodeons & a button accordeon or 2.

Can you get your guitar chum to come as well?

Looking forward meeting & playing together

Latest News!

As the numbers of folkies attending is expanding as we speak, I was conscious that there's many & varied musical tastes to be catered for, e.g. serious unaccompanied singing, musician seshes of various kinds, Irish, English, French etc,& the good ol' free for all mixed music & song session.

For this reason, I've asked the hotel if this diversity can be accommodated & their response is that we can use 3 separate areas, the large breakfast room, the small dining room & the pool room.

Weather permitting, we may be able to have sessions out on the front lawn overlooking the bay!

Yee- Hah, can't wait!!
