David Levine Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 (edited) I will be selling my Jeffries G/D concertina on ebay. It is marked “C. Jeffries / Maker” on each frame and on one end. It is the traditional 30 button layout. I believe everything about the instrument is original. The bellows are solid, although there are three leather patches on the bottom. The tuning is good and it plays well. The condition is good overall. It shows that it has been played over the years. Pads and springs are well played in. It isn’t easy for me to sell this instrument. Nobody who plays a concertina would find it easy to sell a Jeffries. But we are building a house in Ireland and I'm selling instruments that I don't play a whole lot, to raise money for the house. The G/D comes in a solid leatherette covered wooden case with brass corners. I will be happy to provide references and bona fides. Edited June 26, 2004 by cocusflute
