Hello & Happy Holidays, I am trying to view programs on TG4 here in the US (Colorado) and having difficulty. I can get to TG4 but when I try to access a program ie, Tommy Mc doc or Geantrai I get a "http" error. Anyone out there familiar with this or know of a fix.

Thanks

Hi Mark

It's hard to say without more information, or the error code. There are a few different ones that mean different errors. Here is a list that might help:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTTP_status_codes

I've run into error 450 on occasion that some have received, thinking they've protected their computer.

Does this Gentrai program work?

It was accessed from the main page here:

http://www.tg4.tv/

Another recent one mentioned in a recent post is on the right of the main page that takes me to here:

They work O.K. in Pennsylvania. There is a very rare occurence when it wil be blocked in the US, but that creates a message on the player and in my experience is very rare. It doesn't create an http error.

Thanks

Leo

TG4 (the Irish-language televison network, not the TrannyGirl 4 musical group) worked ok out here in California. And we're out in the woods here. But over standard DSL, the videos played well.

I've never seen this before. There's hours of fun to be had...

Mark, I'm also in Colorado, temporarily living in Denver, and I had no problem pulling up the Tommy McCarthy segments using the links provided by Ptarmigan. I'm on a Windows XP computer, using low-end DSL internet service from Quest, and I tested the links in both Firefox and Chrome browsers.
