Got my new concertina by Wally Carroll a few weeks ago, and it is one absolutely fabulous instrument. Every bit as good as (dare I say superior to) other handmade concertinas out there (i.e. Dipper, Suttner, etc.) Lovely tone, volume, fast action, creative engineering. Well done Wally!

Gorgeous playing. Thanks for posting. I'm selling Wally Carroll #23, which is also a beautiful concertina. Carrolls sound very much like vintage Wheatstones. They have great volume and clarity. They also have a sweetness that Jeffries often lack, without the screech that some antique Jeffries seem to have.

Michael - handmade, in house.

Nice instrument and playing. That web site looks useful for video.

Are the reeds hand made or accordion reeds? It has a great sound.
