Chris Drinkwater Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Don't even know how to comment on this. NNY Well, it is claimed that women are better at multi-tasking than men, especially when it comes to juggling several things at once! Chris
Sean Minnie Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I wondering if the Boooo-ing comes from the audience or the instrument?
NoNaYet Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 A new sighting. Horton Hears a Who, near the end (played by a Who). NNY

David Barnert Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 She's kinda hot. I wonder what she does for fun.... Isn't it obvious? She juggles oranges with her feet.
Dan Worrall Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Hmmm.... Drawings, 3 points. Photographs, 10 points. By the way, she is playing a Joseph Skates concertina.

Zoom that up to the full size one more time and tell me if you're sure. And she's playing an English too! Patrick - zooming in to look at the concertina, not the fishnets...

Dan Worrall Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 I've removed the old photograph, which I would term sweetly amusing. It was not my intention to subject the woman on roller skated to off color remarks. She very likely was someone's mother.
JimLucas Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 She very likely was someone's mother. And most certainly, she was someone's daughter.
Chris Drinkwater Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 She very likely was someone's mother. And most certainly, she was someone's daughter. And quite possibly someone's sister. Chris
drbones Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 (edited) I'll not apologise, but, it was not my intention to offend anyone. My sense of humor can be a little kiltered. I'm sure she may have been someone's mother and surely someone's daughter as with the gentleman possibly being someone's father and certainly someone's son. These people were intertainers and obviously leaned toward the comedianic side of show business. Although they are most probably not around anymore, I believe they would have seen my remarks as humor and probably shot them right back at me, at least that's what I would expect from them. It's too bad everyone can't take life that way. Edited December 10, 2010 by drbones

AnnC Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) Brr..... ps what's nithering? Nithering = bitter, finger freezing sub zero temperatures. The weatherman on the local BBC TV/Radio will often refer to 'a nithering wind' Edited December 13, 2010 by anlej
