Daniel Hersh Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 It's here. I can't even decide if it's English or German made...
wes williams Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Its English, probably Jones from the fret pattern - but I'm happy to be corrected.
Guest HallelujahAl! Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Its English, probably Jones from the fret pattern - but I'm happy to be corrected. It's a little bit 'fancier' looking than my Jones anglo. However, the tear-drop fretwork that drops down towards the handles is similar, if that helps. A number and a look inside would be useful wouldn't it? AL
larosdad Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 That one is a Nickolds,it has the same fretwork that my just restored 28 button brass reeded instrument with rosewood ends
drbones Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 (edited) is appalling. There should be a law against concertina abuse like this. This is how he's demonstrating the poor thing. Edited November 26, 2010 by drbones
JimLucas Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 is appalling. There should be a law against concertina abuse like this. This is how he's demonstrating the poor thing. He's demonstrating that it works, not trying to "play" it. The straps appear to be broken or missing. He doesn't seem to be damaging it. I wouldn't consider that to be "abuse" if it helps him get it sold to someone who will fix it up and use it to play good music.
